MANUFACTURER’S SERVICE AND PARTS MANUALS
There are times when you feel you must have the manufacturer’s manual. Some manuals have 40-50
pages devoted to detailed troubleshooting, simulations, etc. I can not possibly cover everything
in my manuals. If you work on a certain model very often, it is always a good idea to have the
factory parts manual. It is nearly impossible to find and identify obscure parts without the
manufacturer’s manuals. At the present time, we can easily obtain certain manuals. We have
various sources for these manuals. Some of these sources are easier to deal with than others.
Some are fast. Some are slow. Prices vary. For example, we can sell you most Sharp manuals for
$20.00 each. Some Xerox ® manuals are over $300.00 each. Most Panasonic & Canon manuals are
in the $60.00 range. Quality, detail and design of manuals varies. Some include parts sections.
Some require a different manual. Some will cover several machines in one manual. Some will have
two separate manuals for nearly identical machines. In some cases, a related machine may have a
manual that is only a supplement. It may still the cost a lot, but may not have enough
information. Some of them will refer you back to another manual. We will not be held responsible
for any of these events or for a manual’s shortcomings. If you order a manual, it will usually
require credit card prepayment with a no return policy.
At the present time, we can most easily obtain manuals for Canon, Panasonic and Sharp. Others
take longer. In some cases, we cannot quote you a price. Our sources do not necessarily know or
wish to check the price until they order and ship the manual. Usually, we will try to give you
an estimate, which is really only an educated and experienced guess.
We can obtain service manuals and parts manuals for just about any copier, fax or printer.
